When stairs become too much, the Lifestyle Lift is the ideal solution to helping you stay in the home you love.
The innovative through-floor lift requires no lift shaft or major structural renovations, and it has been specifically designed to take up minimal space inside private residences.
We know how important space is in your home. The Lifestyle Lift takes up no more space than an armchair, meaning it can be installed almost anywhere you want in your house. As a lift shaft is not necessary, you can send the lift to the next floor and you’ll have full use of the living space where the enclosure is.
Choose from a wide range of cabin colours and finishes and create a lift that blends in with your home. There’s also a range of optional features available.
The Lifestyle Lift requires minimal building work and does not need to be fixed to any walls. This is particularly useful for people in townhouses or apartments, where there is a shared wall. The Lifestyle Lift is fixed to the floor base, to the aperture ring and the ceiling on the first floor.
Once the Lifestyle Lift arrives on-site, the installation will usually take only a few days.
The Lifestyle Lift has been extensively studied and tested by expert lift engineers to guarantee your safety. Manufactured in the UK by an ISO9001:2015 quality certificated manufacturer, the Lifestyle Lift is CE-marked and compliant to BS59000:2012 where applicable.
Unlike many other through-floor lifts, the Lifestyle Lift offers fire protection between the upper and lower floors, whether the lift is parked upstairs or downstairs, to the requirements of bs5900:2012. The lift is fit out with pressure sensitive safety surfaces that will stop the lift if it is obstructed from above or below.
For added security, the lift cannot travel unless the door is closed and the door will not open when the lift is travelling.
The lift’s battery backup allows you to return to the ground floor in safety in the event of a power failure.
If for some unlikely reason the battery back-up fails, the emergency manual lowering system means a person can be manually lowered from within the lift with ease.
